Evacuation from Gaza Strip ― 39 More Ukrainian Citizens Are Safe
On the instructions of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, on December 8, 2023, another 39 citizens of our country ― women and children ― were evacuated from the Gaza Strip.
The mission to rescue the Ukrainians was carried out by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The successful evacuation of our citizens from the conflict zone was made possible by the coordinated and precise actions of Ukrainian intelligence officers and diplomats.
The efforts made by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Israel Yevhen Korniychuk were crucial in the implementation of the rescue operation.
The plane for the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens was kindly and urgently provided by SkyUp Airlines, which has once again confirmed its reputation as a responsible business. Respect and many thanks!
As a reminder, in November 2023, 145 Ukrainian citizens were evacuated from the Gaza Strip.
