The Ukrainian people have been heroically defending a native land against the Russian invaders for 20 days. Metropolitan Epifanii has blessed our people to fight the enemy.

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine has made the statement during an all-national telethon.

“We, as a nation, don’t wish death upon our neighbours. However, since they came to our land, we are defending our land. Our soldiers defend all Ukrainians. To defend is not a sin. We defend, we do not seek someone else. And those who came to us with a sword, he will die from that sword. The Orthodox Church of Ukraine blesses everyone for this military feat,” said Metropolitan Epifanii.
