During a special event hosted by Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for honorary consuls of foreign countries and Ukrainian ambassadors, experts from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine showcased samples of captured russian weapons and numerous electronic components of Western origin. These parts continue to reach the russian federation despite international sanctions.
The event also featured a presentation of the War&Sanctions analytical platform. This digital tool enables effective tracking of Western-made components in russian weaponry and helps counteract sanctions evasion by the aggressor state.
The portal's "Components in Weapons" section is regularly updated with a digital database of newly examined samples, studied by DIU specialists and research institutions.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha emphasized that one of the top priorities of Ukraine's diplomatic efforts is increasing pressure on russia and its enablers.
Only systematic cooperation between security and diplomatic institutions can cut off the supply of critical components used in enemy weapons and help bring an end to the genocidal war waged against the Ukrainian people.
Glory to Ukraine!
