The DIU special operations unit "Prymary" carried out another successful mission on the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. Using precision drones, Ukrainian operatives struck a russian airbase near Hvardiiske, close to Simferopol, destroying two Mi-8 helicopters.
The estimated value of the destroyed aircraft ranges from $20 million to $30 million.
In a separate operation, Ukrainian intelligence also targeted a russian naval tugboat, believed to be BUK-2190, in Sevastopol Bay. During an air assault on russian positions on the peninsula, a guided warhead was successfully directed at the vessel.
The targeted tugboat was part of the so-called PDSS — russian Underwater Sabotage Forces and Means — an elite unit of highly trained combat divers. Preparing these specialists requires significant financial resources, years of training, and top-tier equipment.
Destroying this vessel severely reduces the operational capabilities of one of russia's most elite military units.
The demilitarization of temporarily occupied Crimea continues!
Glory to Ukraine!
