During a visit to Donbas, Maryna Poroshenko visited the Headquarters of counterterrorist operation (CTO) and base camps of servicemen. Mrs. Poroshenko inspected the tents where military men live, a medical unit and talked to military women.

A large part of the cargo that consisted of warm clothes and shoes, were immediately sent from the Headquarters of CTO into the units, including reconnaissance. Also, the means of warm and the warmest – children’s letters and drawings with words of support and gratitude for their work were passed.

In a conversation with the fighting men, Maryna Poroshenko noted: “This is our first convoy, and we all hope that soon on our land a peace prevails. But for a while, you will need in our help – you can be sure that you will receive it”. The President’s wife expressed gratitude to our servicemen on behalf of all Ukrainians, of all Ukrainian women. For all citizens of Ukraine, our fighting men who defend our sovereignty and integrity of our state are an example of fortitude, courage and real heroism.
