Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said in an interview with the German TV channel ARD that Taurus missiles would significantly enhance the capabilities of our Security and Defence Forces to resist the aggressor state of russia.

“Taurus would definitely make our life easier. It’s a great weapon to hit command centres, to hit some very important targets,” Kyrylo Budanov stated.

According to the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, it is expected a significant rise in the defence industry in Europe this year.

He reminded that long-term military support for Ukraine is an extremely important factor in the fight against russia’s large-scale aggression.

According to Kyrylo Budanov, the EU is able to compensate for the lack of US assistance to Kyiv.

The head Ukraine’s military intelligence also commented on the explosions at the Nord Stream gas pipelines, denying russian accusations of Ukraine’s alleged involvement.

“I am more than sure that none of the officials in Ukraine could have had anything to do with this, even physically. And I know for sure that no such orders were given to any service,” Kyrylo Budanov underscored.
