“Army combat training should be based on ATO experience”
Chief of General Staff – Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took part in a meeting with brigade and regiment commanders, their deputies and chiefs of branches. The meeting was conducted at a facility of one of the military units of Ukraine’s Land Forces.
The aim of the event was to determine the most appropriate forms and methods of conducting battle, to share experience concerning the application of military units and formations in performing ATO tasks, to improve overall support during combat tasks and comprehensive exercises.
– Combat experience gained in ATO should be taken into account in future combat trainings of troops. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have entered a new professional level both in the efficiency of the personnel and units, and in logistics. At this stage we must augment capabilities, – Army General of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko emphasized.
