The documentary film is about the work of journalists of Military Television of Ukraine amid the full-scale russian invasion. This film is about duty and risk.

“The film is a harsh, just like our reality,” said Vasyl Solovii, a screenwriter and director of "Effect of Presence” at the beginning of the premiere of the film.

The film shows "first-person" footage taken during the liberation of Kyiv region and Donetsk region from the russian invaders, including an episode of Oleksii Chubashev's last fight that was on June 10, 2022, in Sievierodonetsk.

Oleksii Chubashev became a renowned person as author and host of first Ukraine’s military reality show “Recruit UA”. In 2015, he took part in anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine. After the full-scale russian invasion on February 24, 2022, the journalist once again changed his video camera on assault rifle.

Major Oleksii Chubashev, his call-sign “Recruit”, commanded a unit of the International Legion of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and perished on the battlefield for the freedom of Ukraine.
