“For the first time, we tried to demonstrate events on Bukrynskyi bridgehead having detached them from general picture of battle for Dnieper and banishment of Nazis from Kyiv. We can say that it was one of the largest battles on the territory of Ukraine over the years of German-Soviet war that cost very much,” a project’s curator Andrii Solonets noted.
Exhibition consists of several parts and is based on eyewitnesses’ testimony; furthermore 99% of materials are presented for the first time.
Exposition will last on an ongoing basis at the National Museum of History of Ukraine in the Second World War within the framework of general exhibition.
