Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in a telethon, gave two reasons why there have been no protests in russia in connection with the huge losses in the war against Ukraine.

"The first reason is moral, because russia is really a country of slaves. And the second one is that everyone makes money from it. For most russians, there is no other job but to join the armed forces," explained Kyrylo Budanov.

The DIU Chief also noted that russia's attempts to expand its circle of allies in Africa, Asia and Latin America have not been successful.

"The circle of countries that cooperate with the russia is basically stable and does not change much. The main, let's say, military ally of russia is North Korea, which supplies them with huge amounts of weapons. For the russians, this is critically important ― it will be very difficult to fight without it for them. Critically difficult," said Kurylo Budanov.
