Recently, trained patrol dogs have been given to intelligence officers from the Association of Contribution to the Defence of Ukraine and State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The animals are trained to perform special scenting-out tasks, search for explosives, firearms and narcotic drugs. Despite this, they still undergoing special trainings along with their instructors on a daily basis.

Intelligence officers admit that help from these smaller friends is invaluable. They are capable of hearing shellings much better than people and warn of danger. In addition, these dogs stand on guard and unfailingly determine the approach of unwelcome guests.
