International businessman and philanthropist Lord Michael Ashcroft met in Kyiv with the DIUs' special unit Group 13 commander, call sign Thirteen.

After the conversation, Lord Ashcroft wrote an article for the British newspaper Express, comparing the struggle between Ukraine and russia at sea to the biblical story of David and Goliath.

“The unexpected victory of 'David' (Ukraine) at sea means that 'Goliath' (russia), much to its shame, has had to hide the remains of its once formidable navy,” he stated.

During the conversation with Michael Ashcroft, Thirteen told the story of the Ukrainian Magura V5 surface combat drone.

With the help of this weapon, the DIU special forces were able to destroy and damage 15 large ships and vessels of the aggressors' Black Sea fleet.

“We continue to fight. We are not just waiting for more help from the West, but are doing our best using our resources. We are always looking for ways to improve our military efforts in the fight against a large and powerful enemy. But the world must understand that russia is not only a problem for Ukraine, it is a danger to the entire civilized world,” Thirteen emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, the intelligence officer presented Lord Ashcroft with a model of a Magura V5 maritime drone as a token of gratitude for his assistance and support of Ukraine.
