His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanii Met with Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov
On February 8, 2022, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church met with Brigadier General Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The head of the national military intelligence congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanii on his recent birthday and the third anniversary of his enthronement. Also during the conversation they talked about the current situation in the context of the ongoing Russian aggression against our state. In this regard, His Beatitude noted that the true Ukrainian Church will always be with its people and will stand for a just peace.
"I have repeatedly stressed that we are always ready to lend our shoulder to the Ukrainian state, as this is our direct duty. We believe in our victory, because the truth is objectively on our side. The support of the whole world proves it. We will do everything possible to take care of our warriors - the defenders of the Motherland," said His Beatitude.
