A strong and agile Ukrainian-made T12 boat for medical evacuation, missions to rescue civilians from the frontline regions, and other water operations was once again handed over to the DIU Special Forces within the "Boats for the DIU" project framework.
The Diana Podolianchuk Charitable Foundation is implementing the initiative in cooperation with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The T12 boat is equipped with modern navigation and radio equipment. It has two powerful engines that provide a speed of up to 95 km/h and a range of 500 km. Thanks to these parameters, the boat is used in both transportation and combat missions, including those with unmanned ships.
"We are handing over the boat to the DIU fighters who carry out special missions on the water. First of all, the rescue of civilians from the frontline areas, medical evacuation, and combat raids undermine the enemy's defense capabilities. So we hope this powerful watercraft will help our guys fulfill their tasks," said Diana Podolianchuk, head of the Charitable Foundation.
"This is a great boat that, thanks to its versatile design, can be both a fire support vessel and a medical transport. It has a strong aluminum hull and damage-resistant sides. The possibility of changing the deck design allows us to change the configuration depending on the tasks we perform," said the DIU special forces officer.
We are grateful to all citizens who supported the initiative and to our partners, thanks to whom we managed to strengthen the DIU soldiers once again.
