Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, disclosed the details of the destruction of the russian ship ‘tsesar kunikov’ and commented on the results of the Ramstein-19 meeting to ICTV journalists.

According to him, the large-sized warship of the russia’s black sea fleet was destroyed by five marine drones during the transition from novorosiisk to occupied Sevastopol — the warship was loaded.

“The [Kunikov] crew consists of 90 people. We will be able to say for sure how many of them were rescued a little later, as the search and rescue operation is still ongoing. They are looking for survivors, as it seems to them. So far, the results are not very good,” Kyrylo Budanov said.

Commenting on the results of Ramstein-19 meeting, the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine noted the provision of a “decent” number of additional missiles for air defence and anti-ship missile systems, and stressed the importance of artillery systems and ammunition.

“It is clear that artillery systems and ammunition are the number one priority. Partners from different countries announced how much and which country would be able to donate, and within what timeframe (it was about the next month). This will make our lives much easier,” the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence.
