On the request of Ukrainian Government, medical specialists of the U. S. Armed Forces have conducted course of preparation of Ukrainian servicemen on self-aid and buddy care in military-field conditions.
Under the auspices of group of American colleagues, more than 300 scouts of military units of Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine got trained in course.
Taking into consideration the success of the event, on the request of the Defence Ministry of Ukraine, it is planned to conduct further this course involving the specialists of the U. S. Armed Forces.
Ambassador of the United States of America to Ukraine Geoffrey R. Pyatt underscored: “At the time, Ukraine continues to defend against Russian aggression, the United States will continue to provide with the advisers to help Ukraine to improve own military-field medicine and to save lives of Ukrainian soldiers. This assistance is an addition to general assistance to law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, more than 118 millions dollars which we have allocated”.
