The aggressor state has already partially started to deploy large-scale production of “shahed” UAVs at a plant in Alabuha, in the russian-controlled Republic of Tatarstan.
This was stated by Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, during an interview with RBK-Ukraine.
He said that Ukraine’s military intelligence does not currently record the active movement of “shahed” from Iran to russia.
According to Vadym Skibitskyi, Tehran has already fulfilled the first contracts concluded with moscow for the supply of ready-made kamikaze drones, so now it can only be about small batches of this type of weapon, as well as the supply of components for the production of “shahed” on russian territory.
“The enemy has planned to produce at least 200 “shahed” drones per month, but in reality it produces less: russia has just started to increase production. Nowadays, it is mainly an assembly of components supplied from iran,” said the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Vadym Skibitskyi clarified that “shahed” drones, which are called “heran-2” in russia, are assembled at a plant in Alabuha. In addition, there are related enterprises operating on the territory of the aggressor state that supply components for attack UAVs.
