On November 28, 2024, Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smelyanskyi provided the DIU's warriors with 3.7 million hryvnias in assistance.
Ukrposhta and KSE Foundation raised the funds by selling a charity postage stamp, “Defence Intelligence of Ukraine,” issued in the summer of 2023 with the assistance of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
They printed the stamp in more than 1 million copies.
“We are grateful to everyone who joined an important campaign in support of intelligence officers: citizens who bought collectible stamps, Ukrposhta and personally Ihor Smelyanskyi, as well as the KSE Foundation team, who systematically support military intelligence officers and the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine in general,” said Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The transferred assistance will significantly enhance the DIU's capabilities to conduct combat and special operations, causing the russian occupiers to suffer even greater losses.
“Thanks to the Ukrainians who purchased the stamp, we can transfer funds to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. They will be used to purchase the necessary equipment to implement special operations, the impact of which will soon be felt by the russian invaders. I thank our intelligence officers for their jewelry work in destroying the enemy and urge all Ukrainians to continue supporting the army by ordering charity stamps at Ukrposhta offices or online,” said Igor Smelyansky, Ukrposhta CEO.
We are grateful to all of you for your help, which is essential for Ukraine's security!
Together, we are strong!
