The Year of 2021 Has Been Declared the Year of Euro-Atlantic Transformation in the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine
The result of the transformation processes in the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be establishment of an integrated defence institution of the Euro-Atlantic type. This issue was discussed during a video conference between the Minister of Defence of Ukraine and the group of foreign strategic advisers. The participants of the discussion supported the decision of the Board of the Ministry of Defence to conduct a comprehensive functional review of the defence management system. The review should ensure the steady transition of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine to new standards of operation and management processes.
Andrii Taran assured the partners of the commitment to make every effort to accelerate Euro-Atlantic integration processes within the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In turn, the strategic advisers declared their readiness to provide ongoing advisory support to this process.
