On May 20, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the Decree no. 300/2019 “On Assuming the Mantle of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.

“In view of taking the duty of the President of Ukraine on May 20, 2019, according to paragraph 17 of first part of article no. 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine I take upon myself the mantle of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since this day,” it reads as follows in the decree.
