As a result of this high-risk mission, 57 people were rescued from Gaza, including 48 Ukrainian citizens — 16 children, 14 women, and 18 men. Additionally, nine Palestinians who are family members of Ukrainian citizens were also evacuated.

The evacuation flight has already landed at Chișinău Airport, from where the group will continue their journey to Ukraine by bus.

"For a month and a half, we lived in tents with five children. Our home was destroyed in an explosion, but thank God we all survived. When we learned about the evacuation, we immediately decided to return home. I'm originally from the Poltava region, where my mother lives. At last, we'll see each other again. I thank Ukraine, our President, the Defence Intelligence, and everyone who contributed to our rescue. They saved our lives," said Liudmyla.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel, the Embassy of Ukraine in Jordan, as well as to friendly Moldova for their assistance in organizing the evacuation mission.

We also thank SkyUp Airlines for its consistent and reliable support in air transport and for ensuring the comfort of evacuees on their way home.

Ukrainian citizens in the Gaza Strip who wish to receive state assistance should contact the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel at: (+972) 54 667 67 82. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also operates a 24/7 hotline: +38-044-238-16-57.

Ukraine remains committed to protecting and ensuring the safety of its citizens wherever they may face danger.
