Countrymen-musician devoted a song to the fallen scout
On June 24, 2014, Senior Scout of 3rd separate regiment of Special Forces Oleksii Volohov lost his life in helicopter that was brought down near hill Karachun by Sloviansk.
On July 19, 2014, Corporal Volohov Oleksii Olehovych for personal courage and heroism displayed in safeguarding of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, adherence to oath of allegiance was posthumously awarded with the Order “For Courage” (3rd Class).
Oleksii was 22 years old. He loved Ukraine and life, he was amorous of military service, he dreamt to devote his life to service in Special Forces. And more, he loved music…
