Preparatory Phase of Reforming of the 49th Separate Training Reconnaissance Battalion in Training Center of Reconnaissance is Completed
Current year, leadership of the military intelligence of Ukraine has launched implementation of an ambitious project on establishment of training center for reconnaissance, based on the 49th separate training reconnaissance battalion.
A principal peculiarity of preparation of personnel in the training center in comparison with the training military units lies in that not only specialists of separate military professions but also units in whole will be trained in the center.
A thorough work on comprehensive studying of relevant experience of the armed forces of the world’s leading countries and real adaptation of its academic programmes in military units of the reconnaissance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine preceded to beginning of practical establishment of the training center. After that, it is started a practical phase that will consist of several stages, after completion of which the center will gradually acquire capabilities for the training of reconnaissance sections and platoons, and subsequently – reconnaissance troops. At the end of last stage, the center has to be ready to train reconnaissance battalion in full strength. 
The establishment of center is aimed at a qualitatively new improvement of training of reconnaissance military units and subunits to perform assigned tasks.
Today, comfortable accommodation facilities, conditions for nutrition, daily routine and leisure activities for personnel have been created. Modern classrooms and digital gallery ranges (which are equipped with up-to-date technological facilities) for training of specialists of various reconnaissance specialties have been constructed. Moreover, training grounds for training of reconnaissance units as well as various obstacle courses are being constructed.
