A military chaplain is a sign of presence of God in inhuman circumstances
Priests along with Ukrainian warriors on battle field are not only advisers and healers of spiritual wounds, but they strengthen moral courage and patriotism of Ukrainian servicemen. They save lives of the Ukrainian defenders by their prayer, addressed God.
“Being at life in the balance, you opened your way towards the God for many of the Ukrainian warriors. You anchored in their consciousness a firm conviction that protection of Homeland – is a disposition of God,” the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko noted.
We congratulate all chaplains of the Ukrainian troops on the Day of Chaplain! We wish you health, courage and God’s support. All honour to those who carry word of God to our Defenders!
