DIU representatives take part in festivities dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Peacekeepers

It has been 25 years since the start of the peacekeeping activity of Ukraine
On 15 July 1992, the first aircraft with a forward operational group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine landed in the “blazing” Yugoslavia. Since that day, the peacekeeping activity of Ukraine has been ongoing in different corners of the world, with more than 40 thousand Ukrainians taking part over a 25 time span.
DIU employees joined the festivities on the occasion of the holiday. In particular, on 15th July 2017, intelligence officers laid flowers at the memorial sign founded on the occasion of the opening of UN Alley in Kyiv. They also took part in the opening of the exposition “25 years in security and peace-keeping operations” in the National Historical and Architectural Museum “Kyiv fortress”
