External Intelligence Service of Ukraine Published a Book on the Special Services of UPR and Made It Available To the Public
Recently, the External Intelligence Service of Ukraine published a new book “Special services of UPR of the 20’s-30’s of last century in the archive documents of Intelligence” and made it available to the public on its web-site.
The book contains documents dating back to the establishment of the Ukrainian state and the activities of domestic special services as well as the armed struggle for Ukraine’s sovereignty. Publication of these documents reveals new facts about the national liberation struggle of the Ukrainian People’s Republic. In addition to characterizing the work of UPR special services, materials from the archives of foreign and counterintelligence divisions of the State political directorate of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic prominently demonstrate the functioning mechanism of the soviet totalitarian system.
