On the eve of the Independent Day of Ukraine, the servicemen, who were distinguished during performing tasks as a part of the Joint Forces Operation, were awarded the honorable breastplates of Chief of the General Staff – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The awards were presented by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Serhii Bessarab, who thanked warriors for patriotism, courage and self-sacrifice while protecting the Ukrainian people and state’s independence from invaders.
It should be noted that there are a lot of reconnaissance men among the awardees.
