About ten of military units are located in Berdychiv garrison and significant part of personnel has already been today the participants of combat actions, passed through the crucible of anti-terrorist operation and Joint Forces Operation. Twenty-eight natives from Berdychiv district perished in the east of country that is why to pay tribute to their memory and feat, it was just a matter of time.

Exhibits for the museum, which is open at the Garrison Officer House, have been gathered in military units and were given by volunteers. Behind each of them is somebody’s fate. There are a lot of interesting stories.

Also, personal things of all Berdychiv citizens, perished in the east of the country, get stored at the museum – flags and a Dynamo cap of former ultras, a mobile phone, hit by bullet, and bullet-ridden beret, as well as many other things. Parents, widows and children of perished servicemen, who brought holy for them things as gift to the museum at the time, were the first who saw exposition at the day of its unveiling.
