The separate training reconnaissance battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine turns one year
Russian armed aggression against our state prompted to revise many key components of the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, a separate training reconnaissance battalion was created to train personnel at a high level who then man units of military intelligence.
Almost a thousand contract servicemen and a significant amount of conscripted soldiers have been trained in this training military unit over the short time of its existence. Special attention is paid to issues of deployment of technical intelligence means for timely and accurate detection of enemy assets (targets) for their subsequent fire engagement.
On the occasion of the battalion’s first anniversary, festive events were held, during which more than 20 reconnaissance men – ATO participants were bestowed for their achievements in military service.
