Ukrainian Stage Of Military-Patriotic Game “Dzhura” Is Launched
Tenth jubilee Ukrainian stage of pre-adolescent military-and-patriotic game is launched in Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi town of Kyiv region.
Schoolchildren from the whole Ukraine – the winners of regional stages of contests arrived to take part in “Dzhura 2018: Naddniprianska Sich” contest, which lasts till July 15. They will participate in sporting competitions, quizzes, creativity competitions, master-classes, raids, regional natural history excursions; will get acquainted with work of Cossacks and youth patriotic organizations. The participants will attend Cherkassy and Kyiv.
The competitions began with march through the streets of Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi, hoisting of flags. Then attendees honoured memory of perished heroes – fighters against the Russian invaders with moment of silence. The participants of patriotic competitions also laid flowers to the monument of Hero of Heavenly Hundred.
